We held our last YCYW Parent Webinar for the 2023-2024 academic year—"Love at First Sight"—Parenting for Your Child's Future Success, on the evening of 23 May.

Ms Nicky Weir, Consultant at Yew Chung Education Foundation, will be presenting at the upcoming webinar. Since joining YCYW in 2008, Ms Weir has held various positions, including ECE teacher, Co-Principal, and Director of Practicum and Professional Development at YCCECE. With a strong background in child development and leadership in international education, Ms Weir is a passionate advocate for high-quality early childhood education programmes that support the holistic well-being and growth of each unique child.

During this webinar, Ms Weir shared her views on Attachment Theory and its impact on the cognitive development of young children. She also discussed how secure attachment can support positive growth in children, and offer practical skills that promote children's well-being.
