Discover, Learn, Grow: YCYW Summer Camps 2025

    Upcoming Events

    10 Jan, 2025

    16 : 24

With the start of the new school semester, Yew Chung and Yew Wah schools are preparing for the launch of the 2025 Summer Camp Programmes!

YCYW has long had a tradition of breaking down the confines of the "four walls" of the classroom and encouraging students to explore new and exciting learning experiences beyond the campus.

In the summer of 2024, students participating in the ChinaOne Experiential Learning Programme travelled across northern and southern China, and engaged in activities ranging from paleontological fossil excavation to hotel management, and gained valuable insights into the practical aspects of their disciplines.

Students who participated in the Summer Music Tour to Europe immersed themselves in the rich artistic atmospheres of Vienna, Austria and Hungary. The 13-member YCYW String Orchestra were even able to perform on the stage of the famous Vienna Musikverein, gaining an unforgettable and valuable experience.

In addition, a variety of other camp activities, including fashion design, English language enhancement, drama performances, and VEX robotics, enabled students to have a memorable and rewarding summer.

The excitement will continue in the summer of 2025!

Technological innovation, language learning, creative arts, and sports—YCYW schools will build on the strengths of their existing programmes and provide students with quality educational resources to explore new modes of knowledge and discover more of their potential during the summer.

    ABOUT THESE PROGRAMMES

The second season of the ChinaOne Experiential Learning Programme will take students on a cross-country journey to cities in Guizhou, Hunan, and Shandong provinces, where they will explore a variety of disciplines such as astronomy, archaeology, chemistry, oceanography, and the performing arts.

The newly launched OceaniaOne Experiential Learning Programme will move the classroom to Australia, where students will travel to Canberra, the capital of Australia, and four major cities along the eastern coast of Australia--Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Cairns. The students will learn from experts and scholars and immerse themselves in the fields of oceanography, zoology, geology, and other disciplines.

3 At the Future Camp with Art Masterclass offered by YWIES Zhejiang Tongxiang and YWIES Shanghai Gubei, students will enjoy the Future School's extensive learning resources and cutting-edge teaching spaces while participating in a diverse summer programme that integrates art, technology, and sports.

YWIES Shanghai Gubei is launching the UK Creative Arts and Design Universities Tour for students interested in pursuing further studies in the arts. The programme will help students create distinctive portfolios and find their own directions for university applications through immersive field experiences.

5 At the ECE Summer Camp offered by YCIS Shanghai Pudong, children will unleash creativity in a supportive environment. Each day will be a new adventure with storytelling, reading, and English enrichment. On the other hand, YCIS Shanghai Puxi will be offering the Language Enrichment Summer Camp, which uses PBL-style approach with elements of art and music, digital technology, STEAM, and service learning

Highlights such as STEAM, Oversea Study Tour, VEX Robotics, Drones, and Golf are continuously being updated!
