Founder's Day commemorates our founder, Madam Tsang Chor-hang.

Madam Tsang Chor-hang, affectionately called "Hau Cheung Po Po", established the first Yew Chung school in Hong Kong, China in 1932. With her unique perseverance and talent, she devoted her life to education, as a mission for "honouring China". Each year in October, schools across the Yew Chung Yew Wah Education Network organise activities to honour the educational vision and contributions of "Hau Cheung Po Po".

The 2024 Founder's Day celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. on 10 October and coincide with a special event marking the 10th anniversary of YWIES Guangzhou. We will broadcast the event from the main venue in Guangzhou. We invite you to join us to celebrate our strategic vision and continuing efforts in education.
