    • We are delighted to present Episode 5 of Alumni Talk, featuring Cherry Pan and Clarisse Leong, graduates of the YCIS Chongqing Class of 2023.

       

      Clarisse, currently pursuing a Psychology degree at Nanyang Technological University, and Cherry, double majoring in Political Science and Economics at UCLA, share their inspiring journeys since graduating from YCIS Chongqing.

       

      Cherry reflects on her 13 years at YCIS Chongqing, expressing her joy upon returning to her alma mater and witnessing its growth. She fondly recalls the familiar faces of teachers and friends, feeling a sense of homecoming.

       

      With Clarisse's three younger siblings currently studying at YCIS Chongqing, she emphasizes that she never truly left the school.

       

      They highlights their experience with the IB program at YCIS Chongqing, emphasizing its role in preparing her for a diverse and globalized social environment. Cherry fondly describes her experiences at UCLA, where she has connected with students from diverse backgrounds including Jamaica, Mexico, the United States, Korea, and China. She credits YCIS Chongqing for teaching her to embrace cultural diversity and respect individuals from different backgrounds.

       

      Both alumni express their gratitude for the academic guidance provided by YCIS Chongqing teachers, particularly their training in referencing and academic integrity. They attribute their success in university studies and international social settings to the foundation they received at YCIS Chongqing.
